Peacocks, magic and wonder at Clark Gardens. Just some of the enchantment that you will find when you visit this beautiful garden oasis, minutes from Mineral Wells.
I have been there many times and always enjoy learning something new and wonderful each time I go. As you walk into the gardens, you are immediately transported into another world. There is beauty everywhere you gaze. Walking along the paths you will see all types of flowers, trees, birds, waterfalls and more. You might even be one of the lucky ones who sees a peacock strutting around.
Clark Gardens is open daily during the Spring and Fall. Their spring season will open in March with the “Grow at Clark Gardens” event. This is a month long celebration and each week there will be a different topic to explore. Week one will be full of lifestyle tips, guidelines and more. Week two is all about art, including the Dream in Bloom exhibit as well as painting and photography classes and flower arranging. The third week will focus on gardening with information on everything you need to know to have a flourishing garden of your own. And the final week will be all about farming! Have a question about rain collection, chickens or composting? You’ll find your answers here!
But, don’t limit your visits to March. Sign up for the Clark Gardens email news alert. They have events from March until July and then from September through November. When you sign up for their email alerts, you’ll receive notifications about their upcoming events and activities. Some of their past events have included model train shows, date nights and food truck Saturdays. You don’t want to miss out on these fun and exciting pursuits. Whether you are looking for some quiet time on your own or an outing for your entire family, you’ll find it here at Clark Gardens!
